Noise Abatement in Wandsworth

Sound Planning were retained to investigate an existing noise complaint from a site where the London Borough of Wandsworth had served the site operator a noise abatement notice relating to the use of kitchen ventilation systems at the site. After completing a noise survey in collaboration with an appointed ventilation installer, we determined the noise mitigation requirements and a feasible noise mitigation strategy, including recommending suitable noise control products such as acoustic lagging, ductwork attenuators and fan acoustic enclosures. The noise mitigation strategy has been implemented and noise complaints from the use of the site have ceased, allowing the site to continue trading.
