Enclosure for Condenser Units in Broadway, Southend on Sea, Essex

Sound Planning has supplied and installed 2 double condenser unit acoustic enclosures to meet the sound reduction performance requirements of BS4142: 2014+A1: 2019 and the local planning authority. The enclosures also meet airflow requirements by evaluating airflow and static pressure of the external condenser units (preventing recirculation of war/ / cold air within the enclosure by the adoption of acoustic foam septums creating front and rear plenums). Service access is maintained with 4 x removable louvres per enclosure; enabling service engineers to access the front and rear of the units for maintenance and part replacement if necessary.
