Ballasted Louvre Screen – Feltham

Sound Planning was commissioned to design, develop, supply and install a ballast supported louvre screen around roof mounted mechanical plant, providing recommended sound reduction whilst protecting the surrounding living roof. Sound Planning liaised with structural engineers and Big Foot (support systems) in the design process. The support system required a bespoke footprint layout to accommodate the pre-sited mechanical plant. CAD drawings for ballast support system and acoustic screen were produced and signed off by the customer. The component parts were delivered on time to meet a crane uplift to the roof.
