ZrO2 Full Ceramic Bearing 10x26x8mm with PEEK Cage

The CCZR-6000 is a full ceramic deep groove bearing in zirconium dioxide, sized 10mm bore, 26mm OD and 8mm wide. Rings and balls are both ceramic. No steel anywhere to rust.

The material is zirconia stabilised with yttria, often called YSZ or YTZP, which adds strength and fracture resistance at room temperature. It expands at a similar rate to steel, so shaft and housing fits hold up as things warm up. The PEEK cage is rated to 250°C and the bearing ships with a looser C3 radial play as standard.

Run dry at light load in air and the coefficient of friction sits around 0.0012. It is non-magnetic, non-conductive and roughly 30 per cent lighter than a steel equivalent. A sealed version, CCZR-6000-2PKS, is also available.

ZrO2 bearings work best at low speeds. For continuous high-speed rotation, silicon nitride balls are the better call.
