Submersible Ceramic Ball Bearings for Underwater and Marine Equipment

When equipment sits fully underwater, most metal bearings are on borrowed time. Full ceramic ZrO2 bearings are extremely water resistant and highly corrosion resistant to most chemicals, which is why they turn up in submerged marine kit.

They also step in where 316 marine grade stainless bearings cannot cope with the load or speed. The CCZR-6200, 10x30x9mm, is a typical example, with the sealed CCZR-6200-2PKS alongside it. The full range covers bores from 3mm to 50mm.

One caveat worth knowing. Prolonged contact with steam or hot water can weaken zirconia over time, so these suit cold and ambient water best.

Bearings are non-magnetic and non-conductive, with PEEK cages as the standard stock option.
