Washdown Bearings in 316 Stainless for Food and Meat Processing

Bakeries, fish processing and meat plants all have one thing in common: constant wet cleaning. Marine grade 316 stainless steel bearings resist salt, moisture and many aggressive chemicals, which makes them a sensible fit for washdown lines.

The same bearings show up in dyeing, textile, pharmaceutical and paper plants. The S316-6205, 25x52x15mm, is a popular size, with the sealed S316-6205-2PES alongside it. The full range covers shafts from 3mm to 50mm.

Remember these are for low load and low speed duty. If the job needs more muscle, full ceramic bearings are the next step up.
