S6205-2RS Stainless Steel Bearing 25x52x15mm

The S6205-2RS is a rubber sealed stainless steel deep groove bearing: 25mm bore, 52mm OD, 15mm wide. Open S6205 and shielded S6205ZZ versions are also in stock.

Rings are AISI-440C stainless. Shields and retainers are usually AISI-304. It is built for wet and mildly corrosive conditions where the bearing still has to carry medium to high loads or speeds.

Seawater and strong acids or alkalis are too much for 440 grade. In that case, step across to 316 stainless, plastic or full ceramic.

Some sizes can be fitted with Viton seals for higher temperatures and chemical resistance.
