Low Torque Extended Inner Ring Bearings with Instrument Oil

Shielded extended inner ring bearings normally leave the shelf pre-greased. For low torque work, SMB Bearings can supply them with instrument oil instead. For very low speeds where rotational resistance must be as low as possible, they can go out completely dry.

The SRW188ZZ, 0.25 x 0.5 inch with a 0.1875 inch outer width, is a common pick. The range runs from a 0.0469 inch bore right up to 0.3125 inch.

Relubrication is done in-house, so the grease or oil can be matched to your torque target rather than whatever the factory put in.

The wider inner ring means no spacers or washers on the shaft.
