608 Hybrid Ceramic Skate Bearing 8x22x7mm

This is the 608 size skate bearing with silicon nitride ceramic balls in chrome steel rings. It fits standard skateboard, longboard, roller skate and inline wheels.

Spec: high speed nylon cage, removable non-contact seals, P5/ABEC 5 grade, C3 radial play and a light fill of free-running grease. Rated to 48,000 rpm.

Ceramic balls are lighter and harder than steel. That means lower friction, less heat and longer life, plus better tolerance to small bits of grit. The catch is that they do not flex, so hard landings can dent the raceways.

Best for speed and distance skating rather than big drops.
