What training evidence do SSIP assessors expect to see?

They want proof that everyone, from directors down, is trained for what they do.

That usually means a training matrix showing who holds what, backed by certificates. Think health and safety awareness for directors and managers, supervisory training such as SSSTS or SMSTS where relevant, trade qualifications, CSCS or equivalent cards, and task specific training like asbestos awareness, working at height or PASMA.

Toolbox talk records help too. They show training is ongoing, not a one off.
