Yes. Sole traders get SSIP accredited all the time.
Most schemes scale the question set to the size of your business, so a one man band is not asked for the same paperwork as a firm with fifty staff. You still need to show you understand the risks of your work and have sensible controls in place.
Typically that means risk assessments and method statements for your trade, evidence of your own training and qualifications, and access to competent health and safety advice.
