EZO precision miniature bearings can be used as arbor bearings in clocks, where every bit of friction costs you drive weight.

SMB Bearings stocks small bearings in metric and inch sizes for shafts as small as 0.6mm.

For the lowest friction, clock bearings can be supplied with very low viscosity synthetic instrument oil or with no lubricant at all. If you go dry, choose a corrosion resistant bearing.

Open and metal shielded versions are available. Shields add protection against dust and dirt.
