The VFR 185 handles machines on pneumatic tyres, solid wheels and tracks. Sizes and capacities are set out in the table on its product page, and other sizes are available on request.
Heavy plant needs a secure connection. Choose a lip with steel pin and movable safety device, a hinge fitting or a bottom hook into guide rail, and consider spring assistance on longer hinged ramps.
Painted steel ramps need regular attention to stay in good order. Aluminium ramps need far less. That saves time in the workshop and keeps ramps in service rather than waiting for repair.
Choosing the right ramp starts with three facts: the weight of the heaviest machine, its wheel or track width, and the deck height of the trailer. With those, it is straightforward to pick a model, a width and a length.
