Low Loader Ramps for Plant Machinery

Getting plant on and off a low loader is a daily job for a lot of firms. Do it with the wrong ramps and you lose time, damage kit or put someone at risk. Our low loader ramps are built for exactly this job, giving operators a solid, predictable path from ground to deck.

The VFR range is designed for loading machines on pneumatic tyres, solid wheels and both rubber and steel tracks. That covers most of what turns up in a typical plant yard, from compact excavators and dumpers through to rollers and loaders.

Think about how often your ramps get used. On a busy plant trailer they might go down and up ten times a day. Ramps that are awkward, heavy or unreliable make that a chore and tempt drivers to cut corners. Ramps that are light, secure and the right size make it routine, which is exactly how loading should feel.

Each ramp is made from a special aluminium construction. That means strength where it counts and a fraction of the weight of steel, so ramps can be positioned and stowed without a fight. Aluminium also shrugs off the weather, which matters when ramps live on the back of a trailer all year.

Connection is flexible too. Ramps can be supplied with a lip, a hinged end or a bottom hook that locates into a guide rail. Pick the fitting that suits your trailer and the way your drivers work, and the ramp sits right every time.

The VFR range is built around a special aluminium construction. Aluminium gives a strength to weight ratio that steel cannot match, which is why it has become the material of choice for plant loading ramps. The ramps stay strong under load, light in the hand and resistant to the weather.

Low loaders and flatbeds vary a lot in deck height. That is why ramp length is never one size fits all. Measure your deck carefully and compare it against the standard sizes, or ask for a size to suit.
