Wheeled plant on pneumatic tyres is a regular on any low loader. Telehandlers, wheeled loaders, compact tractors and dumpers all need a ramp that gives grip and support without damaging tyres.
The VFR range is designed for loading machines on pneumatic tyres, as well as solid wheels and tracks. The aluminium construction gives a strong, stable surface that copes with the concentrated load of a tyre contact patch.
Tyres can also slip on worn or wet ramps, especially when climbing. Keeping ramps clean and choosing a width that gives the tyre full support both help. If your tyred machines are heavy, check the capacity tables for the VFR model that suits.
Aluminium is weather resistant, so the ramps stay in good order whether they are stored in a yard or carried permanently on the trailer. They are also much lighter than steel, making them quicker to set up at each drop.
Width options let you match the ramp to the tyre. The 390mm three profile ramp suits narrower tyres, while the 520mm four profile option gives more room for wide flotation tyres. Secure the ramp with a lip, hinge or bottom hook fitting.
Alongside the ramps themselves, the VFR range includes wheel ramps, spring assistance, infills and outriggers and a loading station. Together they let you build a loading system that suits your trailers, your machines and your yard.
Aluminium does not rust the way mild steel does. That means no flaking paint, no weakened sections and no orange streaks down the back of the trailer. Ramps keep their strength and appearance for longer, even when they live outside.
