Skid steers and compact track loaders are short, heavy and quick to turn. Loading them onto a low loader needs ramps that are secure and wide enough for the operator to line up with confidence.
The VFR range covers both wheeled and tracked compact loaders. The aluminium construction gives a strong running surface while keeping ramps light enough to set up quickly at every drop.
Skid steers can be twitchy on ramps because of how they steer. A wider ramp gives the operator more room to correct, and a secure fitting means the ramp does not shift as the machine adjusts its line. Both make loading calmer.
Because compact loaders are short, the moment they tip over the top of the ramp can be abrupt. A secure connection makes a difference here. The lip with steel pin and movable safety device, hinge fitting and bottom hook all help keep the ramp located.
For wider tracks and tyres, the 520mm four profile ramp is a common choice. Match the ramp length to your trailer deck height, using the standard sizes on our product pages or a size made to order.
Operators load more confidently on ramps that feel solid. A stable, well supported ramp lets them focus on steering and throttle control rather than worrying about what the ramp is doing underneath them.
The VFR range is built around a special aluminium construction. Aluminium gives a strength to weight ratio that steel cannot match, which is why it has become the material of choice for plant loading ramps. The ramps stay strong under load, light in the hand and resistant to the weather.
