Low Loader Loading Station

If you load plant at the same spot every day, a dedicated loading station may make more sense than carrying ramps on every trailer.

Our loading station is part of the VFR low loader ramp range. It is designed for yards and depots where machines are loaded regularly at a fixed point.

Depots and yards that load the same trailers day after day benefit from consistency. A fixed loading station means the setup is the same every time, which helps with training, supervision and safe working.

A fixed station gives drivers and operators a consistent setup, which helps with safety and speeds up the routine. It can work alongside trailer mounted ramps for loading out on site.

Width is set by the number of aluminium profiles. Three profiles give a ramp 390mm wide, and four profiles give 520mm. The narrower ramp saves weight and space, while the wider ramp gives more room for tracks and tyres and more margin for the operator.

Three connection types are available. A lip with steel pin and movable safety device rests on the deck edge. A hinge fitting fixes the ramp to the trailer. A bottom hook drops into a guide rail so the ramp can slide sideways. Each suits a different trailer and way of working.
