Lightweight Low Loader Ramps

Heavy ramps cause problems. They slow loading down, strain backs and get dropped. Lightweight aluminium low loader ramps take a lot of that grief away.

Our VFR ramps use a special aluminium construction that keeps weight low while giving the strength needed for plant machinery. They take machines on tyres, solid wheels and tracks.

Payload is precious on smaller trucks and towed trailers. Every kilo saved on ramps is a kilo available for the machine or attachments. On some combinations, that is the difference between staying legal and running overweight.

Lighter ramps are quicker to set and stow, which adds up over a working week. They also free up payload on the trailer, leaving more of your weight allowance for the machine you are actually carrying.

For the lightest option, the 390mm three profile ramp keeps aluminium to a minimum. If you need more width, the 520mm four profile ramp adds room without turning into a two man lift.

Guide rail for hook fitting ramps is available in lengths of 2600mm, in black or galvanised steel. It runs across the rear of the trailer and gives the ramps a secure location point that can be adjusted to suit each machine.

Whether you run one trailer or a fleet, consistency helps. Using the same ramp type, fittings and widths across your vehicles means drivers know what to expect, training is simpler and spares are easier to manage.
