Why choose waterjet over laser or plasma cutting?

Laser and plasma are quick on thin mild steel, but both put heat into the part. That can harden edges, cause distortion and change the material's properties. Laser also struggles with reflective metals like copper.

Waterjet cuts cold, cuts almost any material and handles thick plate well. It perforates most materials without a start hole, has a narrow kerf for good material yield and often leaves a finish that needs no secondary work. For armour, hardened steel, titanium, copper and composites it's usually the better choice.

As a true one stop shop, PRV keeps every major process under one roof. A part can be cut, machined, drilled, welded, plated and painted without leaving the site. That means shorter lead times, fewer handovers and one team accountable for the result, backed by a zero tolerance policy on rejects.
