What painting and powder coating facilities does PRV have?

The finishing department has a 6 metre shot blast room, various shot blast cabinets, a powder coating booth, a wet paint spray room and a 2.2 metre cubic high bake oven.

Finishes are tested in-house for gloss level, coating thickness, adhesion, porosity, colour shade, dielectric strength and insulative or conductive properties. Specialist busbar coatings are applied by electrostatic spray, fluid bath or heat shrink.

PRV supplies defence, switchgear, rail, automotive, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, food processing, aerospace, actuation, power generation, mechanical handling and valve customers. Batch size runs from a single prototype to full production, in materials from mild steel to titanium and nickel alloys.
