What fabrication work does PRV take on?

A wide range. Typical jobs include machinery guarding, conveyor systems, access platforms, catwalks, staircases, balustrades, racking, stillages, mezzanine floors, canopies, acoustic containers, silos, gates, fire escapes and bespoke fabricated assemblies.

Work is done in mild steel, stainless and aluminium, with exotic alloys when needed. Fabrications can be machined, blasted, painted or powder coated in-house, then installed on site by PRV's own team.

PRV Engineering has been machining, fabricating and finishing from Pontypool, South Wales since 1986. The 54,000 sq ft facility runs 30 CNC machining centres, 10 deep hole drilling machines, a 5 axis waterjet, a full fabrication shop and in-house finishing and plating. Work is controlled to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, with BS EN 1090 EXC3, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alongside.
