What deep hole drilling sizes can PRV handle?

PRV runs 10 deep hole drilling machines. On non-cylindrical parts, holes from 5mm to 100mm diameter can be drilled in any position at up to 3000mm centres, with parts up to 4 tonnes.

On cylindrical parts the range is 5mm to 200mm diameter at up to 5000mm long, again up to 4 tonnes. On-site drilling is available up to 75mm diameter and 3000mm deep, for parts that can't be moved.

PRV Engineering has been machining, fabricating and finishing from Pontypool, South Wales since 1986. The 54,000 sq ft facility runs 30 CNC machining centres, 10 deep hole drilling machines, a 5 axis waterjet, a full fabrication shop and in-house finishing and plating. Work is controlled to BS EN ISO 9001:2015, with BS EN 1090 EXC3, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alongside.
