What 5 axis machining capacity does PRV have?

PRV runs a Mazak Integrex i400 mill/turn centre that machines parts up to 658mm diameter x 1585mm long, with full 5 axis synchronous milling and turning in one machine.

Alongside it are Mazak VTC800/30SR vertical travelling column machines with full 5 axis synchronous milling and a large working envelope. Complex parts are finished in fewer set ups, which improves accuracy and cuts lead time.

As a true one stop shop, PRV keeps every major process under one roof. A part can be cut, machined, drilled, welded, plated and painted without leaving the site. That means shorter lead times, fewer handovers and one team accountable for the result, backed by a zero tolerance policy on rejects.
