Sandwich Panel Fastening System

Honeycomb and foam-core panels do not take normal fasteners well. A sandwich panel fastening system creates fixing points without crushing the core.

The TSS setting system for sandwich structures places plastic bosses into sandwich structures with fibre-reinforced outer layers, such as GRP or CRP.

The plastic melts to form a thermal adhesive bond. No mechanical fastening is needed.

Bosses can be used directly or as fixing points for self-tapping screws.
