The RSF is a robot-assisted screwdriving system for flow-drilling screws, built for body construction and composite structures.
It forms a metric thread directly in the joined parts, with or without a pilot hole, for detachable, high-strength joints. Access is needed from one side only.
The RSF25 delivers torque up to 15 Nm, speeds up to 8,000 rpm, axial force up to 3,600 N and holding-down force up to 1,400 N. Cycle times start from 1.6 seconds.
A compact design, quick tool change and automatic jaw opening suit robot cells. It combines well with gluing.
