Start Date: Immediate Position Type: Full time Location: Team Valley, Gateshead Industry: Engineering / Infrastructure Rubb is looking for a new Structural Draughtsman / Steel detailer to join our design team. Rubb designs, structures for a wide range of applications spanning from training facilities for Premier League football clubs to large warehouses and bespoke structures for the offshore industry. Rubb Buildings Ltd is a respected world leader in the manufacture and construction of custom designed, engineered structures. We provide portable structures, relocatable buildings, shelters, hangars and custom facilities to suit individual client requirements. Our products are semi-permanent and permanent building solutions for a wide range of sectors including military, aviation, sport, general industry, ports, marine, construction, energy and emergency relief. Primary Job Responsibilities Structural Detailing (CADD). Create 3D models and shop drawings from contract drawings, specifications and engineering. Prepare and modify existing models and drawings. Produce accurate shop drawings for fabrication. Prepare assembly drawings as needed. Check co-workers models and shop drawings. Update/maintain digital database. Skills Detail oriented with good verbal and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Outlook. Proficient in 2D and 3D CADD. Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications. Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of Structural Detailing experience. Able to work immediately and from our office.
