The latest NC Centreless Grinder arrives at RK in early 2026

RK International is preparing to receive a new JAINNHER JHC-18S NC1 centreless grinding machine in early February 2026. The machine has been configured specifically for through-feed grinding of carbide blanks before being delivered to its end-user customer.

RK and JAINNHER have worked together in the UK and Irish markets for more than 30 years, with JAINNHER machines supported by RK factory-trained engineers. This latest machine demonstrates how modern centreless grinding technology can combine precision, automation and consistent production for demanding carbide applications.

The JHC-18S NC1 will be fitted with a high-performance 455mm UK-manufactured diamond grinding wheel, together with an automatic loading and unloading system for continuous component handling. Its NC1 PLC control also provides precise X-axis infeed adjustment and automatic compensation for grinding wheel wear, helping maintain consistent tolerances while reducing operator intervention and downtime.

Before the machine is dispatched, RK is inviting interested manufacturers to visit the facility during the weeks commencing 2nd and 9th February 2026, subject to the expected shipping schedule. Visitors will be able to inspect the machine, discuss its specification and explore how similar configurations could support their own grinding applications. The machine will not be grinding during these viewings.
