Join RK International at Colchester Machine Tool Solutions in Elland, West Yorkshire, for the Manual to CNC: Your Path to Smarter Machining open house. The event takes place from 08:30 to 16:00 on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th November 2025.
The event also marks 30 years of Alpha CNC/Manual Combination Lathes. These versatile machines have helped workshops bridge the gap between traditional manual turning and CNC production, offering simple conversational programming, quicker set-ups, reliable repeatability and the flexibility to work in either manual or CNC mode.
Visitors will be able to see a broad selection of machines in action, including Alpha CNC/Manual Lathes, Tornado CNC Turning Centres, Storm Vertical Machining Centres, Bridgeport 5-axis VMCs, manual centre lathes, turret mills and Lightning laser markers.
Practical workshops will demonstrate how Alpha technology can help reduce production costs, improve productivity and make both one-off and batch work more efficient. Engineers and applications specialists will also be available to discuss individual machining requirements and production challenges.
