Mainco Wire Ropes Ltd is an independently owned wire rope splicing and rigging company based in Redditch, Worcestershire. Established in September 2001 by Mark and Monica Johnson, the business was founded following extensive experience within the wire rope industry, with the founders bringing a combined total of 58 years’ industry knowledge.

The company specialises in the manufacture of wire rope assemblies produced to customer specifications, supplying products for a range of lifting and rigging applications. Its capabilities include the production of wire rope slings and assemblies up to 42 mm diameter, supported by ongoing investment in manufacturing equipment, including 330-tonne and 600-tonne presses.

Mainco Wire Ropes Ltd also provides hand-spliced wire rope assemblies up to 26 mm diameter. The business operates a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards and continues to expand its manufacturing capacity through investment in equipment and production processes.
