Spicy Almonds ? Ideal for snacking You can find the Almonds here METHOD Heat the oven to 200°C. Dissolve the sugar in the water and add the soy sauce, cinnamon, cumin & chilli powder. Bring to the boil and allow to reduce by half, until the mixture starts to look syrupy. Add the almonds and stir slowly until all the liquid is gone and the almonds are coated. They will look very sticky. Spread them out on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove them from the oven and then leave to cool. Once cool break up the almonds (they will be stuck to each other), put them in an airtight container and put a sprinkle of salt and pepper over them. Ideally served with a glass of wine!
