LIST OF INGREDIENTS
1 (400g) tin of Cypressa chickpeas
The juice of 1/2 a lemon
3/4 tablespoons Cypressa tahini
2 cloves garlic, chopped
freshly ground black black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons Cypressa olive oil
A pinch of salt
3/4 tablespoons of water, preferably the water from the chickpeas
METHOD
In a blender, add the chickpeas and tahini, squeeze lemon juice and add chopped garlic. Blend until creamy and well mixed. You might need to add water if the mixture is too thick to blend but be careful not to add too much.
Sprinkle with pepper and pour olive oil over the top. Serve with sides of your choice. I chose to eat mine with some pitted green Manzanilla olives and toasted bread.
