A Deliciously Simple Almond Pesto Recipe

LIST OF INGREDIENTS
25g Almonds
3 cloves garlic
50g fresh basil leaves
100ml Olive Oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Parmesan Cheese
METHOD
In a dry frying pan over medium heat, lightly toast the almonds, stirring frequently. Watch carefully so they do not burn.
In a food processor, combine toasted almonds, garlic, basil, olive oil, parmesan, salt and pepper.
Process misture until it looks like a paste – do not worry too much if a few nuts are not fully blended, some get stuck in the blade sometimes.
Serve with your favourite pasta.
