Acrylic foam tape has a foam core with a strong acrylic adhesive. Once fully bonded, it holds panels and parts with serious strength.

Unlike a rivet, it spreads the load along the whole joint, seals out water and dust, and leaves no holes or visible fixings. It also takes up vibration and allows for different expansion rates between materials.
