Powder in a thread is a pain. The bolt won't go in, and chasing every hole with a tap after coating eats time.

The simple fix is a silicone plug. Push it into the hole before coating, cure the part, and pull it out afterwards. The thread stays bare and clean. For external threads and studs, a silicone cap does the same job from the outside.
