For many signs, yes. High bond tapes hold panels firmly, leave no visible fixings and avoid drilling into walls or frames.

They work best on clean, smooth, flat surfaces with enough contact area. Heavy signs, rough brickwork or anything exposed to severe wind loads may still need mechanical fixings, or a combination of both.
