Our team recently completed a range of electrical installation works at Wilkin & Sons’ Tiptree Site, delivering new panel connections, cable management solutions, and equipment installations to ensure a reliable and efficient site infrastructure.
Gibbons Engineering recently completed electrical installation works at Wilkin & Sons’ Tiptree site, supporting upgrades to the site’s control and equipment infrastructure.
The project involved completing the electrical connections for a new screen panel, including the termination of SWA cabling and the installation of a 4-core SWA link between panels. Our team also completed cable tray installation from the tank area to the handrail, with level cabling routed, clipped, and terminated into the controller to provide a reliable connection.
Due to the lack of existing pipework structures available for securing the traywork, the route was carefully planned and installed to provide the most practical and effective solution for the site environment.
Additional works included securing the washdown pump in position and completing all associated electrical connections. The extract fan supply was also installed, with provisions identified for the required Eaton breaker and thermostat connection to complete the system.
As part of the final works, the kiosk area was cleared and tidied, leaving the installation clean, organised, and ready for operation.
The project was completed successfully, demonstrating Gibbons Engineering Group’s ability to deliver reliable electrical installation solutions across industrial environments.
