Brandauer: Financial Director Appointmented

As part of its recession busting strategy, precision pressings specialist Brandauer has appointed a new Financial Director to support its drive to beat the recession and be at the forefront of technical innovation in specialist components manufacture. Theresa Williams has been appointed to the Brandauer Board as Financial Director. Theresa has spent six months at Brandauer as Financial Controller replacing Finance Director John Woodward who is retired after 33 years with the company. A qualified accountant, Theresa’s experience spans 25 years in the manufacturing sector. In addition to heading the Finance Department Theresa will also take on responsibility for human resources, environmental and IT. David Spears, Managing Director at Brandauer, said, “Theresa’s appointment will provide a greater depth and experience to the board. Her experience working in automotive and other manufacturing sectors has already benefited the business as we move into a growth period. Brandauer’s success has always relied on the flexibility and willingness of its employees to use multi skills and wear several hats. Theresa will be no exception by taking on responsibility for IT, human resources and environmental.
