Axis Entrance Systems Ltd is an independent UK specialist in the design, manufacture, supply, installation, service and maintenance of manual and automatic door and entrance systems.

With roots dating back to 1987 and more than three decades of industry experience, we have built an extensive understanding of entrance solutions across the commercial, healthcare, education, retail and public sectors. From our central UK base in Northampton, we work with architects, main contractors, facilities teams and end users to deliver entrance systems designed around the specific requirements of each project.

Our product range includes automatic and manual swing and sliding doors, healthcare doors, hermetically sealed doors, steel doors, aluminium shopfronts, glazed screens, curtain walling, manual folding doors and architectural ironmongery. We work with carefully selected manufacturing partners while also developing and manufacturing our own innovative entrance solutions.

Innovation is an important part of the Axis story. We are the developer and manufacturer of the multi-award-winning Flo-Motion® manual sliding door system, originally developed for the new Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Designed specifically with demanding healthcare environments in mind, Flo-Motion has since become an established part of our specialist healthcare door offering.

Our involvement does not end when a door is installed. Axis provides comprehensive servicing and maintenance support for both our own systems and products from other manufacturers. From planned annual maintenance programmes and upgrades to reactive repairs and 24/7 emergency support for service contract customers, our qualified engineering network helps keep entrance systems safe, reliable and operational.

As an active member of the Automatic Door Suppliers Association (ADSA), Axis places safety, compliance and professional standards at the heart of our work. Our technical and engineering teams receive continual training, with automatic door work undertaken in accordance with relevant industry standards including BS EN 16005.
