This year’s Healthcare Estates exhibition, at Manchester Central on 21-22 October was another huge success - once again being bigger and better than ever before!
Healthcare Estates is the UK’s largest event for healthcare engineering and estates management professionals – and like all good champions, the event owner IHEEM and the event organiser Step Exhibitions don’t stand still and continue to grow the event year-on-year. We’d like to congratulate and thank them both for all they do to bring this sector together so successfully!
For us, here at Axis Entrance Systems, the 2025 event was another great success too!
OUR STAND
This year, we were delighted to showcase five fully operational doors from across our range, which we installed the day before the exhibition. They were:
- The Flo-Motion® T32E telescopic door sliding over a wall
- The Flo-Motion® F11E single door sliding over a wall
- The Flo-Motion® T55 telescopic door sliding over a glazed screen
- The new Manusa EI 90 fire rated hermetic sliding door
- The Doorson 300T telescopic automatic sliding door
STARS OF THE SHOW
Visitors to our stand were interested, keen and ready to try out all of our doors, including the Doorson and Manusa. These two manufacturers are world class innovators and we’re proud to have UK distributor partnerships with both.
However, the stars of the show this year, were our own multi-award-winning Flo-Motion® doors, and in particular the space-saving telescopic T55, and the T32E - first launched at last year’s exhibition.
Visitors were not only bowled over by the performance and aesthetics of the Flo-Motion® doors on show, but also by the unrivalled extent to which we test our doors.
1,000,000 TEST CYCLES!
The low friction track systems used in Flo-Motion doors have been tested to 1,000,000 cycles, far exceeding the requirements of BS SN 1527:2019, which is only 100,000 cycles!
The cycle test equates to an expected life span of at least 25 years within the NHS environment.
OUR ‘GUESS THE FORCE’ COMPETITION WINNERS!
Nearly as popular as the products on our stand, was our fun charity competition, where we invited visitors to ‘Guess the Force’ of the three Flo-Motion® doors on our stand.
We’re delighted to share details of the competition winners, the force test result for each of the Flo-Motion® doors they guessed correctly, and their nominated charities for our donations!
