CARL FOSS APPOINTED TO LEAD OUR SOUTHERN SALES TEAM!

We’re delighted to welcome Carl Foss to the Axis team. Carl joins Axis as our new Area Sales Manager for the Southern Region, taking over from Steve Andrew, who retired in the summer.

During an illustrious career, Carl has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in automatic doors and aluminium façades, having worked in our industry for more than two decades, across all sectors, including commercial, retail and healthcare.

Our MD Rob Brunero says:

“We’re thrilled to have Carl with us, his experience has enabled him to really hit the floor running. As you’d expect with his experience, Carl has a broad range of skillsets, including delivering CPD’s, specifying for architects, advising and liaising with main contractors and fabricators, and surveying and project management too. He’ll be a great asset to our team and our customers. Welcome on-board Carl!”

On joining Axis and to introduce himself, Carl Foss says:

“I’m incredibly pleased to be here, enjoying getting to know my colleagues, who have all been very welcoming, as well as learning all there is to know about our products. Anyone who works in this industry knows Axis and their reputation for market-leading doors, technical expertise and customer service, so to be a part of the team is a genuine privilege and pleasure.

“Away from work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing and coaching sports and when I get the opportunity, I enjoy cooking too – spicy dishes and barbecues mainly, never roasts, which I leave to the expert, my wife Sam!

“Sam and I have been married for 34 years and have two children, Jack 31, who is about to make us grandparents for the first time, which we’re incredibly excited about, and Emily, who is responsible for getting me into football coaching. When Emily was coming up through the Surrey county age-group teams, I was invited to coach her under-16 squad. While Emily moved on to the higher age-groups – and subsequently Reading, QPR and now Farnham – I stayed, and ten years on I’m still coaching the county under-16 team. Additionally, I’m also manager of the men’s Sunday league team that Jack plays for – two roles I love doing.

“I also enjoy martial arts, which I’ve now been doing for over 40 years and occasionally play golf, which is more about catching up and enjoying the company of friends than winning – or at least that’s what I tell myself!

“It's great to be here at Axis, I’m looking forward to next month’s Healthcare Estates exhibition, where I hope to meet many of our existing customers and new ones too, on our stand F20 – see you there!”
