MI Analyst - SQL / SSRSLocation: ManchesterDescription: Our client based in Manchester is currently looking for a MI Analyst / SQL Report Writer. Reporting to the Senior Analyst you will provide reporting and relevant management information to the business. This includes static and scheduled reporting and the analysis, evaluation and documentation of business requirements for new and existing processes. Experience of SSRS would be highly beneficial. Financial services experience, specifically insurance is essential for this role. Core Skill Set: For this position you will have all/some of the following skills: SQL Server 2000/2005 (2008 desirable) Transact SQL inc. stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services 2000/2005 (SSRS), Advanced Excel inc. Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Concepts. Experienced in the end to end delivery of business solutions around reporting, management information and Business Intelligence inc. writing complex SQL queries. Experience of using SQL Reporting, Analysis and Integration Services. Understanding of Financial processes is advantageous. You will be analytical with an eye for detail. Able to present and format data in clear, concise manner to end user requirements. Creative in seeking opportunity or solutions to problems. Good interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the business and third parties. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
