Our hugely successful and growing client is looking for a Change Management Analyst. The role will provide support to the Service Delivery Team in ensuring that Change & Configuration Management methods and procedures are used efficiently. This will minimise the impact of Change-related Incidents on Live services, and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations and in delivering full IT Services across the organisation. The role will involve the following: • Receives and handles IT Infrastructure Change requests following agreed procedures. • Co-ordinates Change Management process and ensures that each request is judged against set processes and procedures, whilst scheduling and organising Change Advisor Board (CAB’s) meetings. • Ensures that all aspects of the Change Management Process are adhered to, and reports against the performance of the Change Management process in weekly / monthly reports Responsibilities: - Update CMDB after the implementation of changes, creating new Configuration Items (CI`s) and relationships to reflect a true picture of the infrastructure - Responsible for co-ordinating changes across the organsiation, ensuring correct procedures are followed and changes are accurately recorded scheduled and controlled. - Assess the priority and impact of all changes for accuracy ensuring consideration to company activities – monthly schedules. - Create and distribute Change Management reports and analysis for IT Management and technical support groups, answering potential questions or queries. - Liaise with Project Managers, requestors, business areas and operational teams progressing requests, checking status and chasing information where necessary throughout the Change lifecycle. Skills: - Has good oral communication skills and takes an analytical approach to problem solving. - Possesses a basic knowledge of IT. - The ability to handle detailed technical and non-technical data, comprehend and communicate essential information in a compelling way to non-technical production staff. - Understanding of Configuration Management and how this is closely linked with Change Management to be effective in the provision of IT services. - Excellent customer care skills with the ability to identify a customer`s requirements and to recognise whether these can be effectively met through the resources and Production staff, timescales and skills available. - Organised and methodical in approach to routine and administrative matters. - Demonstrable knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards and the principles of service delivery. - ITIL qualified to Foundation Level with significant experience working in a similar role in an ITIL environment.
