AAV Plastics is a specialist trade injection moulding company producing plastic components for customers across a diverse range of industries, from agriculture through to high-end electronics.

The company operates 11 injection moulding machines ranging from 25 to 330 tonnes, with shot weights from 1g to 1kg. This provides the capacity to manufacture components across a broad range of sizes and production volumes, with batch quantities ranging from approximately 100 to more than 500,000 components.

Alongside injection moulding, AAV Plastics provides a range of in-house finishing and secondary operations, including packaging, assembly, ultrasonic welding, CNC gluing, punching and machining. Its fully equipped toolroom incorporates conventional, CNC and EDM machinery, enabling tooling development, modification and ongoing maintenance to be managed internally.

The company works with customers from the early stages of product development, with particular emphasis on design for manufacture. This approach helps ensure components are suitable for efficient production while meeting the required performance, quality and cost considerations.

AAV Plastics works with a variety of tooling methods, from CNC-machined 7000 series aluminium through to hardened steel tooling incorporating features such as side cores and lifters.
