THE CALBOX

The CalBox Calibration Checker is a simple way to ensure the on-going accuracy of electrical test equipment between dates of calibration. This means that you can produce a record of instrument accuracy to your regulatory assessor (NICEIC, NAPIT, ELECSA, ECA) in order to comply with the assessment procedures that they have in place. It also gives you, the user, peace of mind that your test instrument is giving you accurate readings between its annual calibration.

The unit is easy to use – simply plug your tester (analogue or digital) into the CalBox to prove accuracy of both continuity (0.5, 1 & 2 Ohms) and insulation resistance (0.5, 2 & 200M Ω. Checking RCD and loop test accuracy of your instrument can be conducted at a dedicated labelled socket at your premises (bench mark circuit), making the CalBox a valuable accessory to carry within your toolbox.

The CalBox calibration checker is built with high quality resistors which can be tested at 1000V DC and are manufactured to produce an accuracy within 2%. The Cal Box also utilises universal 4mm socket connectors, enabling use with any brand of test equipment that you own.
