C.Scope YIRS-640 640Hz Metal Pipe Sonde

The C.Scope YIRS-640 640Hz Metal Pipe Sonde transmits an ultra-low frequency 640Hz signal which can penetrate metal pipe walls, thus making the sonde ideal for finding blockages in underground metal pipes when working in conjunction with a C.Scope MXL4 Multi Frequency Locator.

The plastic, stainless steel and epoxy resin design of the C.Scope YIRS-640 is IP68 ingress-protection rated so there is no problem with inserting the sonde into water and sewage pipes. The metal stud can screw onto a 7 t.p.i. thread in order to be moved around by a drain rod or other instrument (jetter, rodder, camera equipment etc.). The minimum possible diameter of a pipe under inspection is 50mm.

This really useful low-frequency accessory is brilliant for finding blockages in metal pipes and has a 25-hour battery life from just one 1,5V AA battery.
