Thermaltronics Receives Second Award for Full Vision Soldering Robot at APEX

Thermaltronics USA, Inc. announced that it was awarded a 2019 NPI Award in the category of Soldering – Other for its TMT-R9800S Solder Robot. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 ceremony that took place at the San Diego Convention Center during the IPC APEX EXPO. The NPI Award marks the second award for the solder robot since its introduction. The soldering robot has an observation mode, a verification mode and decision-making capabilities. This capability to collect and utilize data for production processing is one of the most important factors necessary to meet the requirements of Industry 4.0 standards.
