Shock Indicator Labels for Cargo (V1)

Shock indicator labels, also known as impact indicator labels, for pallets, crates and sensitive cargo in transitShows visual evidence when cargo may have been mishandled in transitHelps protect sensitive shipments, pallets, crates and export casesMultiple g-force sensitivities for different packaging & product typesSupports receiving checks, damage claims and supply chain accountabilityQuick and easy to apply to outer packaging before despatch

Shock indicator labels, also known as impact indicator labels, provide visible evidence when cargo is exposed to excessive shock during transit. Used on pallets, crates, export cases and other sensitive shipments, they help deter poor handling, support damage investigation and identify consignments that may require inspection on arrival. A range of colour-coded sensitivity levels is available, including 15g, 25g, 37g, 50g, 75g and 100g. Each label is calibrated to react when handling exceeds the selected threshold, helping you match the indicator to the fragility and transport conditions of the goods. Please refer to the product selector chart for guidance. Each indicator is supplied with a companion warning label to make it clear that the consignment is being monitored. Uniquely numbered labels help discourage replacement after activation and support checks on receipt, damage claims and wider supply chain accountability. How shock indicator labels workEach label is designed to activate when the package is subjected to an impact above its specified g-force threshold. Once triggered, it gives receiving teams a clear prompt to inspect the shipment before acceptance or onward use. Choosing the right shock indicator sensitivityAlthough it may seem counter-intuitive, larger and heavier consignments will often require a lower g-force indicator, because damage can occur at a lower level of shock. Smaller or lighter parcels may tolerate sharper impacts and can often be matched with a higher g-force setting. Refer to the selector chart for initial guidance, or contact us for application advice. The correct sensitivity will depend on the size, weight, fragility and packaging of the goods, as well as the transport environment. Please refer to the selector chart to help choose the most suitable option for your application:Need more help choosing the right shock protection?See our Guide to Cargo Shock Protection for advice on g-force selection, label placement and use on pallets, crates and export shipments.
