They are a convenient option for fleet operators, transport companies, trailer service teams and drivers who need a dependable self-adhesive repair for damaged trailer tarpaulins. How to Apply Trailer Curtain Repair Patches Steps 1-5 Instruction Remove the product from the packaging - the pack will include degreasing alcohol wipes, a piece of sand paper and the repair patch itself. We recommend repairing the tarpaulin from the inside of the trailer to give the most aesthetic result. Use the included sandpaper to roughen the surface of the existing tarpaulin - this is important, as it will increase the adhesive bond and extend the durability of the repair. Degrease and clean the tarpaulin using the provided alcoholic wipes. We recommend using both wipes to ensure the surface is prepared fully. After thoroughly cleaning the tarpaulin, wait 2-3 minutes so that the area is fully dry. Apply the repair kit to a degreased and cleaned tarpaulin, by peeling off the protective layer and sticking the repair kit tightly to surface of tarpaulin. It is recommend to use a sufficient size of material so that the repair extends over the damaged area by 2-3cm on every side All done, and your trailer is ready to go!
