TransXL Crew Takes on Challenging Granulator Removal in Germany

TransXL recently sent a specialist crew to Germany to assist with the removal of sheet equipment from a factory that had recently been sold.

One of the more challenging pieces of equipment was a granulator positioned in a deep pit and heavily protected by thick steel chequer plate and soundproofing mesh. Before the machinery could be lifted, the team first had to gain access by carefully removing the substantial coverings.

After around two hours of hard work, determination and plenty of effort, the steel chequer plate and soundproofing had been successfully removed. With the granulator finally exposed and accessible, it was ready for the next stage of the operation – lifting it safely out of the pit.

The project highlighted the practical challenges that can arise when dismantling and removing industrial equipment, with TransXL’s experienced crew rising to the challenge and getting the job done.
