The Trafag TMP 502 is an all stainless steel electric contact pressure gauge. It gives you a clear local pressure reading and electrical switching in one instrument, so it can raise alarms or control pumps and valves directly.
The all stainless steel measuring system and direct welded socket-case give excellent corrosion resistance. It comes in a high-version case design with space for the contact mechanism, and liquid filled versions are available to dampen vibration and pressure pulsation.
Measuring ranges run from -1 to 0 bar up to 0 to 1600 bar. It uses a Bourdon tube measuring system, C-type for ranges up to 100 bar and helical above that, a proven principle for dependable readings over a long service life. It conforms to EN 837-1.
It's widely used in hydraulics and water treatment, where you need to see the pressure and act on it.
